Syriac Association of Australia (SAA)
The Syriac Association of Australia (S.A.A.) has been a part of the World Council of Arameans (WCA) for more than 13 years. The S.A.A. was established in 1993. The S.A.A. originally started as a Syriac Youth organisation from the local Syriac Orthodox churches and developed to what is now called the S.A.A.

Bundesverband der Aramäer in Deutschland (BVDAD)
Als Dachverband der aramäischen Vereine ist die Föderation die zivile Vertretung der Aramäer in Deutschland. Sie hat die Aufgabe, sich um die kulturellen, sozialen und politischen Belange der Aramäer zu kümmern und sie zu vertreten. Das Einleben der in Deutschland lebenden Aramäer zu erleichtern und sich gleichzeitig für die Erhaltung und Förderung der aramäischen Kultur einzusetzen sind vorrangige Ziele der Arbeit der Föderation.
Auch die aufenthaltsrechtliche Problematik ist ein Hauptbetätigungsfeld der Föderation. Solidarität und Verbundenheit mit den in der Heimat verbliebenen Aramäern, sowie die Bereitschaft, sich jederzeit für sie einzusetzen, sind nicht nur erklärte Ziele der Föderation, sondern eine Selbstverständlichkeit, die sich über jede noch so große geographische Entfernung hinwegsetzt.
Die ersten aramäischen Vereine wurden in den 70er Jahren gegründet. Nach der ersten größeren «Einwanderungswelle» der Aramäer in Deutschland, wuchs die Zahl, der aus Aram-Nahrin (Mesopotamien) geflohenen aramäischen Familien in Deutschland. Sie waren notwendig, um das Einleben der hauptsächlich «Hals über Kopf» aus der Heimat geflohenen aramäischen Familien in Deutschland zu unterstützen.
Zu der Zeit gab es keine Organisationen oder Institutionen, die sich um die sozialen, kulturellen und aufenthaltsrechtlichen Belange der Aramäer kümmerten. Also gründeten die Aramäer Vereine, die sich diese Arbeit zur Aufgabe machten. Mit Hilfe dieser Vereine konnten die Neueingewanderten von der Erfahrung der vor ihnen eingereisten Personen profitieren. Die unerfahrenen Vereinsaktivisten suchten Hilfe und Rat bei ihren deutschen Nachbarn und fanden diese auch oft bei den Schwesterkirchen, Hilfsorganisationen und vielen ihrer Neugewonnenen deutschen Freunde. Später, beim Aufbau der aramäischen Gemeinden in Deutschland, war es der Erfahrungsschatz dieser Vereine und ihrer Aktivisten, die ein schnelles Vorankommen in diesem Punkt erst möglich machte.
Mit dem Anstieg der Anzahl der Aramäer in Deutschland, durch dramatische negative Veränderungen der Menschenrechtsituation, vor allem im Tur-Abdin (Südosten der Türkei), wuchs auch die Anzahl der Vereine in Deutschland. Eine große Nachfrage nach Begegnungs-, Kultur- und Sportveranstaltungen führte dazu, dass die Vereine gezwungen waren, den Radius ihrer Aktivitäten auszudehnen. Das war aber aus organisatorischen und wirtschaftlichen Gründen nicht unproblematisch. Die Vereine, die sich zu 100 % selbst finanzieren mussten, stießen an die Grenzen ihrer Möglichkeiten, zumal die Aktivisten alle nur ehrenamtlich tätig waren und auch noch sind.
Inzwischen, - Mitte der 80er Jahre - war die Anzahl der Aramäer in Deutschland auf ca. 25.000 Personen angewachsen und es gab viel zu tun. Heute leben rund 90.000 Aramäer in ganz Deutschland. Eine Organisation, die auf dem gesamten Bundesgebiet aktiv ist und sich um die Belange und Angelegenheiten aller Aramäer in Deutschland kümmert, war notwendig geworden. Immer mehr kam der Ruf nach einer zivilen Vertretung aller in Deutschland lebenden Aramäer. Diese Vereine haben sich 1985 in der Baden-Württembergischen Stadt Heilbronn zu einem Dachverband zusammengeschlossen, die sich als die «Föderation der syrischen (aramäischen) Vereine in Deutschland e. V.» bezeichnete. Inzwischen hat die Föderation 40 Mitgliedsvereine, in denen viele Menschen organisiert sind.
Die Föderation feierte am 29./30. September 2000 das 15jährige Jubiläum, welches in Heilbronn stattfand. Diese bezeichnet sich seit 23. September 2000 als «Föderation der Aramäer (Suryoye) in Deutschland e.V. (FASD)»

During the 1970’s our community in the United States experienced an unprecedented growth and transformation. New waves of immigrants, escaping the economic, political, and social uncertainties of the Middle East, settled in the New York Metropolitan area. As these new immigrants struggled to build new lives for themselves and their families, they yearned for the community, friendships, and the cultural activities they left behind.
Syriac Federation of Sweden (SRF)

The Syriac Federation of Sweden (SRF) was founded in 1978 with the purpose of sustaining the identity of the Aramean (Syriac) diaspora in Sweden, while at the same time assisting in the transition to the new society through integration. Ever since, the federation has become the voice for the Aramean people in Sweden by striving democratically for socio-political, economic, educational and cultural rights, in concerned ethnical issues and by acting as a bridge between Arameans and Swedish society.
Suryoye Aramese Federatie Nederland (SAFN)
Opgericht in 1989, de Suryoye Aramese Federatie (“SAFN”) is het nationale overkoepelende orgaan en vertegenwoordigd de Arameeërs in Nederland. SAFN vertegenwoordigt daarin ook de Aramese lidverenigingen waaronder de Suryoye Aramese Vereniging Oldenzaal, Platform Aram Enschede, Baradaeus Hengelo, ARAM Amsterdam en Abgar Rijssen, en haar internationale televisie zender Suryoyo Sat. De federatie is een nationaal gehoorde stem van de Arameeërs (Suryoye) waarvan de interesses, belangen en doelen worden verdedigd en gepromoot.
SAFN is de belangenbehartiger van het Aramese volk in Nederland op politiek en maatschappelijk niveau. Zij proberen op een onafhankelijke en democratische wijze sociaal politieke en culturele zaken onder de aandacht te brengen. Zij hebben tevens een beleidsmakende en controlerende functie ten aanzien van de lidverenigingen en zullen hen aansturen en stimuleren daar waar nodig. Saamhorigheid en professionaliteit staan hierin centraal.
De SAFN en haar lidverenigingen hebben besloten dat zij zich zullen richten op lange termijn strategieën en oplossingen in plaats van korte termijn antwoorden, zoals demonstraties en petities. Terwijl we moreel gezien dit soort acties ondersteunen, zijn wij er sterk van overtuigd dat lange termijn strategieën, wanneer ze op een professionele wijze worden geïmplementeerd, zullen leiden tot tastbare resultaten.
Op internationaal niveau worden zij vertegenwoordigd door de non-profit organisatie met een non-gouvernementele status “WCA” dat staat voor World Council of Arameans. Zij houden zich vooral bezig met international politiek en mensenrechten. "The World Council of Arameans [Syriacs] is dedicated to answer the call to protect and secure the rights, liberty and equality of the Aramean people, safeguard and promote the cultural heritage of its ancestors, ensuring justice, and uniting all its people as a self-determined and internationally recognized Aramean nation."
