Winner of the 2018 Sayfo Essay Contest
On 17 May 2018, WCA announced its first Sayfo Essay Contest. Entrants were asked to put their thoughts on the Sayfo in a 200-500 word essay (click here). WCA extends its warmest congratulations to the winners and thanks all participants in and the jury members of the WCA Sayfo Essay Prize 2018.
"Sayfo: a Forgotten Genocide" premières in the Netherlands

Yesterday, on April 20, 2015 the documentary “Sayfo: a Forgotten Genocide” premiered before a full movie theatre of descendants of Aramean genocide survivors. The premiere, which was produced by the Evangelical Broadcasting in cooperation with the World Council of Arameans (Syriacs) came one day before the documentary aired on the Dutch national television (click here).

De documentaire 'Sayfo: De vergeten genocide' is een gezamenlijk project van de EO en de World Council van Arameans (Syriacs) ("WCA") die binnenkort wordt uitgezonden op NPO 2; klik hier voor een samenvatting. Maar voordat de film op TV verschijnt, vindt er op 20 april om 19:00 uur een exclusieve voorpremière plaats in de Wolff CineStar bioscoop in Enschede.
