WCA is Hiring: Two Project Coordinators Needed in Syria and Turabdin

Position 1: Bilingual Arabic & English Project Coordinator for Arabic-speaking countries
(Location: Syria)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage various projects aimed at uplifting the Aramean communities in the Arabic-speaking countries, especially Syria.
- Engage with local Arameans, understand their needs and challenges, and draft comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations.
- Translate documents seamlessly between Arabic and English.
Position 2: Bilingual Turkish & Aramaic Project Coordinator
(Location: Turabdin, Southeast Türkiye)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives and projects to enhance WCA’s presence and impact in Turabdin.
- Collaborate with local Arameans, understand their concerns, and produce meaningful proposals to address them.
- Proficiency in Turabdin Aramaic and Turkish is essential; some knowledge of English would be appreciated.
Both positions offer:
- A commitment duration of at least one (1) year, with the possibility of extension.
- A competitive monthly remuneration, which will be determined based on the applicant’s age, qualifications, and location.
Key Qualities We Seek
- Passion for the Aramean cause people, and dedication to making a difference.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle projects from conception to completion.
- Knowledge of Tur-Abdin Aramaic is a strong preference
