Congratulations 20th Anniversary SAUF
To the Honorable Board of the Syrianska-Arameiska Ungdomsförbundet (SAUF): To the Distinguished Chairman, Mr. Andreas Harman:
On behalf of the World Council of Arameans (Syriacs) (“WCA”) and the WCA Youth Academy, we cordially congratulate all the respected members of the Syriac Aramaic Youth Federation (SAUF) in Sweden on SAUF’s twentieth (20th) Anniversary!
We are thankful for the invitation to be part of your festivity in celebrating this historic event today. Unfortunately, I myself have not been able to participate in this memorable occasion. However, Mr. Daniel Gabriel, the WCA Vice-President, is joining you this evening on our behalf. Although I am physically absent, I remain nonetheless connected with you in heart and mind today.
We have been following your many important activities in the preceding years. The WCA and its Youth Academy have had the honor to receive your support and organize a number of events with you for the Aramean youth in Sweden. Today, as we have done many times before, we express again our sincere commitment to further develop our outstanding relationship with SAUF in the years ahead of us.
For it is you, the youth, who are the most crucial members of our great Aramean (Syriac) people.
You are the backbone and heart of our threatened nation.
You are the beacon of light and hope for our forgotten nation.
You are tomorrow’s servant and visionary leaders of our scattered nation.
Because you, the Aramean youth, truly are our pride and glory, our present and future!
Again we warmly congratulate you on your 20th Anniversary. We are hopeful that the Syriac Aramaic Youth Federation in Sweden will continue to play a key role for our people, inside and outside Sweden, with many more cooperative, successful and inspiring years to come.
Yours in Arameanism (Suryoyutho),
