WCA Turabdin Scholarship 2023 available for 15 More Students!
After supporting 15 Aramean students from Turabdin, an ancient Aramean region in Southeast Türkiye, we are excited to announce that this month, starting on 20 December 2023, we will be able to support at least 15 new students with a scholarship! This will surpass last year's achievement, where we successfully supported 25 students.

In 2008, WCA established a scholarship program to support Aramean students in Turabdin.
We encourage them to stay connected to and build up a future in the homeland after their graduation. They all agree that once they start working, they will give back to our people either through WCA, its Member Federations, Suryoyo Sat, or otherwise.
Last year, we were able to support no less than 25 students from places in Turabdin like Midyat, Arkah, Midin, Iwardo, Beth Qustan and Hah. This year, we will be able to provide annual scholarships to at least 30 Aramean students. In October, 15 students received their scholarships and during the Christmas period at least 15 more will follow. For more, see also p. 6 of last year's brochure.
