´The First Aramean Congress´
We hereby invite you for The First Aramean Congress on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 October 2011 that will be held in the Aramean House, that is, the Suryoyo Sat Studio in Gütersloh, Germany.
The Syriac Universal Alliance (SUA) is organizing this first international Congress which will be hosted by the Aramean Federation of Germany (FASD). The FASD will send us soon all the necessary details, including information on travel, accommodation and dates of arrival and departure.
Besides the Member Federations and Associations of the SUA, we cordially extend our invitation to our special guests: Suryoyo Sat, the Sweden-based Syriac Aramaic Youth Federation and Syriac Aramaic Student Association, Kreis Aramäischer Studierender Heidelberg, Nisibin – Stiftung für Aramäische Studien, Stiftung zum Erhalt und zur Förderung des Aramäischen Kulturerbes, Kifa Magazine, the Aramean Movement for Human Rights and our predecessors in the Aramean organizations.
This Congress aims to reach out to and mobilize our local associations and national federations more effectively. The interrelation, interaction and cooperation between SUA – Federations – Associations will also receive abundant attention. It is high time that all of us try to get on the same page. We need to embrace the same general ideas, passion, mission and objectives.
The time has come to bring our work to the next level and to seek closer communication and cooperation with each other. Therefore, we expect 2-3 motivated and competent delegates from every organization who are eager to share with their brothers and sisters at home what they have heard, seen, learned and contributed at the Congress.
