Four (4) Christians in Moharde killed
SYRIA, MOHARDE -- Four (4) Christians in Moharde were killed as result of a bomb near Moharde on the street next to a chicken farm. The bomb was hidden on the road from Homs to Moharde. The rebels are responsible for this cruel act and have been attacking Moharde for quite some time – the population in this area and the nearby Al-Suqaylabiyah is all Christian, probably the main reason why these areas are under attack and surrounded increasingly by Jihadists.
The rebels have also hit the Moharde Power Station many times to shut down power in the region, the Government and Army have succeeded to fix it every time the rebels attempted to shut down the power.
The four deceased were all originally from Moharde-Hama and were on their way in a van from a University in Homs to their home in Moharde, it was their last day of exams.
- Aded Ghaze Assad, 35 years old (the chauffeur of the van) – from Moharde, Hama.
- Liza Jehad Khori, 18 years old – from Moharde, Hama.
- Nour Fared Balhous, 28 years old – from Moharde, Hama.
- Jenan Rateb Zaeood, 28 years old – from Moharde, Hama
The WCA expresses its condolences to the families of the 4 deceased Christians. Their funeral was today at 11.30 am in the church of St. Gorgias.
