WCA Solar Energy Project Maskanah - initial report

VIDEO | WCA is delighted to announce a NEW Solar Energy Project in Maskanah near the city of Homs in Syria! 75 big solar panels have been purchased and will be used to irrigate 400,000 m2 of agricultural land that will produce almonds, grapes, olives and more.

This unique project, supervised by the priest Fr. Lukas Awad, will help and change the lives of some 80 Aramean families. Click on the picture below to watch the video in Aramaic with English subtitles.

Additionally, WCA has also contributed to the renovation of the local Syriac Orthodox Church at Maskanah. More information about the progress of this project will follow in due time. This video is from 25 September 2021.
