On 7 december 2012 the WCA President mr. Johny Messo has been interviewed by the BBC head office in London concerning a special Christmas programma on the plight of the Christians of Syria.

See minutes 12-15 for the interview by WCA's President to the BBC which was broadcast on 2 January 2013: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01phjbb it is followed by a debate on whether the West should intervene in Syria.

This interview is the outcome of the WCA's previous work on Syria's Aramean refugees (see for example: http://wca-ngo.org/humanrightsfiles/the-syria-crises/361-summary-report-aramean-refugees-from-syria-into-greece-via-turkey) who ended up in Athens. This has not remained unnoticed by the BBC which, upon the facilitation of the WCA, made the following brief story on them: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-20317547.
